Dreamtilt is advising customers that there will be a major Internet outage scheduled for Thursday December 15th from 7am to 5pm.
The outage is required for a significant fiber replacement and splicing that will occur on this day. The outage time is required for fiber replacement to occur.
We understand that this is a significant outage time, however there is no workaround for this outage as the entire fiber cable is being replaced and spliced as a priority by our upstream provider.
We are working through options at the moment to keep phones online during this time, however all internet services to all customers will be affected during this day.
We will be posting further updates and reminders in the next few days to customers.
Unfortunately there is no other time that this replacement can be scheduled for and is required to be completed at this time. We advise customers not to reset routers during this time.
