NRG Stack Radio Upgrade Completed
Dreamtilt has completed a planned backhaul radio and network upgrade on stack at NRG.
This work had been delayed due to issues with the required stack climb. Whilst the process took longer than was hoped, it was completed safely with a performance improvement in capacity and lower latency in the connection.
Customers will see the improvement in speeds as congestion on some access points was improved and higher capacity means less issues with speeds at peak periods.
It was a long (and exhausting) day that was made easier with the assistance from High Point Access and Rescue from Rockhampton. They did a fantastic job in ensuring that all work was carried out safely.
Its just another investment into the local network, by the number one fixed wireless internet provider in the Gladstone region.
